What you’ll do:
- Attract new players to our game projects through social media — promoting games across platforms, briefing the creative team for assets, and collaborating with influencers
- Build and nurture communities by moderating, monitoring, and actively engaging in conversations across Discord, forums, and social media
- Share game updates, changes, and announcements with the community through relevant channels
- Plan and run community events and contests to boost engagement and retention
- Act as a bridge between players and the game team — ensuring a smooth flow of feedback and information in both directions
- Gather, filter, and summarize community feedback, translating complex player requests into clear insights
- Work closely with the development team to align community needs with game updates and decisions
- Track key community health and communication metrics and regularly report them to stakeholders
What you need to succeed
- 2+ years of experience in community management within the video game industry
- Deep understanding of all major social platforms and familiarity with content creation tools
- A genuine passion for games and gaming communities
- Strong communication skills — able to interact with players across cultures, technical levels, and languages
- Excellent copywriting and one-to-many communication abilities
- Experience planning content around product deadlines and launch schedules
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic goals
- Willingness to work in EET time zone and align with the Cyprus business calendar
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in additional languages (spoken and written)
- Experience in multicultural, multilingual teams
- Familiarity with online task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
- Strong grasp of the gaming industry and online communities
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing
- Experience in content production or appearing on camera
