What you'll do:
  • Develop the project website using Python and React
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Create seamless integrations with external and internal systems
  • Maintain and enhance existing Java components
  • Take full ownership of testing for all developed solutions
  • Manage product releases into production environments
  • Handle incident response: investigate root causes, resolve issues, and ensure data integrity through historical corrections
  • Collaborate with Analytics, DevOps, and Development teams to drive cross-functional goals
What you need to succeed:
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL
  • Proven experience developing websites and web services
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database architectures
  • Hands-on experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra
  • Commitment to YAGNI, KISS, and DRY principles—you measure twice and cut once
  • Linux knowledge at a local administrator level
  • Ability to build idempotent, fault-tolerant systems backed by technical metrics and monitoring
  • Accountability for code quality, including rigorous self-testing and results verification
  • Skill in navigating, refining, and improving an existing codebase
  • Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and proactively clarify needs with stakeholders
  • Genuine drive to learn and master new technologies
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with MongoDB
  • Familiarity with Airflow, Jupyter, or Zeppelin
