What you’ll do:
  • Own all aspects related to the the product
  • Lead the Product Group and have the final say on all decisions for product development and operations
  • Directly manage cross-functional development teams and ensure cross-discipline alignment for design, art, engineering, QA, and production
  • Control product PnL (both Publishing and Development)
  • Ensure development pipelines, tools, and processes are efficient, scalable, and optimized for team success
  • Proactively solve production issues, remove roadblocks for the team, and keep development on track across sprints and major releases
  • Work closely with stakeholders and investors with regards to expenses and working practices
  • Be in charge of product budget and expenses
  • Be business-oriented and focused on achieving financial success (increasing revenue and profit)
  • Hold full control over the publishing and development roadmaps
  • Approve hiring/firing decisions
  • Prepare and be responsible for games’ annual KPIs
  • Create and hold product strategy, including: markets, target audience, platforms, features, marketing strategy, and so on.
  • Be responsible for implementation of OneTeam approach in the product; publishing and development should work with full trust, transparency and understanding of the value of each other and the joint end-result
  • Prepare reports for the main stakeholders
What you need to succeed:
  • Ability to own all aspects of game publishing for PC and console platforms
  • An inside-out understanding of different platform nuances: PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, EGS, and so on.
  • Excellent knowledge of PnL building and tracking, with full responsibility for end-result
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, multidisciplinary game development teams – including producers, engineers, designers, and artists. Ability to set up effective team structures, define roles, and mentor leads to ensure delivery and quality.
  • Solid understanding of the responsibilities and workflows of all major roles in a dev team – from code to content
  • Great team leader able to head both the Publishing and Development teams; someone who can ensure the OneTeam approach is implemented at all levels of the team
  • Collaborative and with an understanding of the importance of knowledge-sharing between different product teams
  • Possess a clear vision and understanding of the current game market landscape, with the ability to see and use opportunities that appear on the market
  • Know how to analyze data and use it for further product development – whether it’s an already launched or in-development product
  • Familiarity with the development methodologies (Agile/Scrum), production tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and pipelines used in modern game development
  • The ability to own both the Development and Publishing roadmaps
  • Know how to forecast, track and hit the main product KPIs
  • Be data-driven, while also having an understanding that data without business and community understanding may hurt the product
  • Able to give team members enough space and be trusting of the decisions they are responsible for
  • At the same time, ready to make final decisions and take responsibility for team decisions
  • Ability to work in timezone GMT+2
