What you’ll do:
- Perform the systematic search and selection of ideas and references for new projects of various game genres; pitch strong concepts to studio management together with producer
- Perform the full cycle of game systems development: from concept pitch to engine tuning and metrics analysis
- Continuously analyze and develop suggestions for improving various components of the project being worked on, as well as the project search and selection processes themselves
- Write technical specifications and working documentation
- Work closely with the project team, game design department, and studio management
- Conduct playtests of new projects
- Work with statistics and analytical tools
What you need to succeed:
- Experience designing games of different genres and large game systems from scratch (primarily of interest: experience in midcore games with developed meta and casual core)
- Excellent understanding of different types of game meshes and monetization of mobile F2P games
- Rich exposure to mobile games
- Strong experience writing game documentation and TORs (tasks for programmers, artists, and other specialists)
- Strong communication skills to get your ideas across to management and for working with specialists across different areas
Nice to have:
- Experience working in an R&D team
- Experience building processes and team management
- Experience working in Unity (building prefabs, customizing components)
